CCI Dating Product Development

As CCI dating's art director and senior designer, I was in charge of the dating products visual direction, brand identity, and interface & information architecture.
Here are some samples of this work which was perfomed from 2003 to 2005
The dating product was designed in 2 parts:
A monolithic back end application which performed the heavy lifting, and an independent CSS front end which pulled data from the server side back end, and performed display tasks.
The design team which I led was responsible for the information architecture, content creation, site flow, visual design and construction of the front end; as well as the marketing,
branding, and advertising of all of the dating product.
As the design lead, I set the conceptual, visual and marketing direction and guided the other designers in the team, in the creation of the interfaces of the three sites.
Working with the product strategist, business lead, and the creative director, we gathered all business requirements and market research, to create a flexible and clear interface,
with a minimum of visual clutter, and with appropriate visual cues, to make it appealing to the targeted audiences.
The dating site was composed of 3 main sections
--Profile, Search, and connections
--excluding the home page which agregates these sections in a brief.
Profile, is your personal information and information about who you would like to find.
Search, is a centralized repository of preset search queries and functions, to help you find your match.
Connections, the different ways in which your prospects and you are interacting.
There where also a couple of different interaction tools to create connections.
IM, a web based community centric Instant Messenger console.
Notes, a web based network mail system.
Chat, a web based network chat console. As of early 2006 all of these sites where redesign following a new community model... they are no longer available online.
